Annual Gala – October 9, 2018 at the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown, NY 14701
Come celebrate the accomplishments, volunteers, and watershed of Conewango Creek. Refreshments will be served at 5:30pm and are provided by The Main Landing.
There will be a short business meeting followed by a presentation at 7:15pm titled “A Beautiful Mess…and other Stream Improvements: Stories of local conservation“. by Luke Bobnar of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. Luke is a Watershed Scientist with more than eight years of experience in aquatic and terrestrial monitoring and restoration. He works in the Upper Allegheny and Clarion River watersheds as well as the PA Lake Erie tributaries, focusing on water quality and fish habitat improvements on public and private lands.
