The agriculture industry is an important part of the economy and heritage of the Conewango Creek Watershed. Within the watershed there are nearly 500 farms that employ approximately 1500 people. Similarly, these farms provide our communities with fresh milk, meat, fruits and vegetables.
The Conewango Creek Watershed Association is working closely with the agriculture community to provide support for conservation efforts. The Association, in cooperation with its parteners, provide technical support for natural resource concerns, encourage the use of agricultural best management practices, and seek funding to assist with the implementation of projects.
