Volunteers have donated more than 5,800 hours and have removed more than 200 cubic yards of trash over the years. They have pulled out television sets; microwave ovens; lawn chairs; refrigerators; 55-gallon drums, more than 700 tires and have filled many bags of recyclable metal, glass, plastic and aluminum.
We look forward to another great time this year!

Volunteers will cleanup the waterway and shorelines of all debris using canoes and kayaks and storing trash in provided trash bags. Items too big to haul will be marked with brightly colored marking ribbon for larger vessels to retrieve.
Volunteers are also needed on land to collect, sort, and haul the trash that the paddlers bring ashore.
All volunteers should dress for any kind of weather and wear sturdy close-toed shoes and wear long pants for walking in all kinds of situations (mud, water, plants, rocks, etc.).  Also bring sunscreen and insect repellent and plenty of water, a lunch, and snacks.
